Unique handle (was RE: Merging RRP and Whois)

As with email, I've had URL which is not active anymore. (Actually, it is now owned by somebody else!) How do you authenticate the owner of a URL? I have a domain (thus the URL) that does not belong to me anymore. I still think that using email address as *part of* [NIC] handle (not the whole handle) is a good idea. If you change your email address, that's ok as long as that handle is associated with the new address. It's just a string right? -- budi -- Homepage: <http://budi.insan.co.id> my presentation materials, papers, scrapbook, ... and more What's your "web.id"? Register your web.id @ http://www.idnic.net.id
