Scott and Allison, Thanks. The UDP problem statement ("avoid") is fine. I was concerned over the only-tcp-or-sctp construction of orthodoxy, since I don't see any reason not to provide a transport mapping for smtp/uucp. I just haven't gotten around to writing it (a-must-do-by-ICANN-Accra). Eric
