Speaking from Melbourne IT, an ICANN accredited registrar, registrar for
many country codes, and sole registrar for ".com.au".

I support the push mechanism being included in addition to (not instead of)
the pull mechanism.  This allows more flexibility from both the registry and
registrar perspective in implementing future services.  

Melbourne IT supports innovation at both registry and registrar level.
