Nobody's "robbing" anyone of anything. This is a matter of deprecation
versus encouragement. Those who wish to deprecate end-node reverse DNS
look forward to a day when reverse DNS is never used improperly as an
authentication mechanism -- for spam detection or otherwise. Those who
wish to encourage end-node reverse DNS apparently are comfortable with
the continuation of this absurd and misleading practice.
