Subject:
[ietf-provreg] Is there a 4310-bis document?
I'm curious...is anyone preparing a document? I confess that I read the thread more or less ten days ago and have forgotten the nuances. The first question is on backwards compatibility. We have already implemented 4310, but, we aren't in production with it. Although we would not want to redo this (As in "how do you *want* to pay" want), if we had to for better stability we could (consider it). Considering others are in production, is it a given that there will be backwards compatibility? Are the outstanding issues only related to being able to identify the records needed to be changed? Or is there an issue that the client needs to get feedback that the change has been regsitered/made/propagated/served? -- -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Edward Lewis NeuStar You can leave a voice message at +1-571-434-5468 As with IPv6, the problem with the deployment of frictionless surfaces is that they're not getting traction. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- List run by majordomo software.
