"Requests to retrieve information describing a registered object
 MAY be granted by the registrar that currently sponsors the registered
 object."

As far as I understand the (registry public) retrievel of object information
using the protocol then is handle by registrar policy?  Shouldn't it be
possible also to the registry?

Suggestion:

"... MAY be granted by the registrar that currently sponsors the registered
 object or MAY be granted by registry policy."

Or is this not neccessary because of 1-3 the registry MUST provide services to
retrieve information and therefore by definition is able to grant rights to
retrieve information?
