Subject: a new domain name status

Hi Scott and All,

I am a programer from CNNIC(China Internet Information Center),
We are developing an epp-compatible registration system.
And now, we are facing a problem. Because CNNIC's policy is different
from ICANN's. We have no AutoRenew operation. When a domain name expire,
it will be stopped resolving but still in the database. And after serveral days, it will be
deleted permanently from the DB if it never be renewed again, then other registrant
can register this domain name.

As far as I know, there are serveral status about domain names in the epp protocol.
But, none of them can support our model. So, I prefer to add a new status for the
domain name, pendingExpired. Do you think our idea is reasonable? If not, would
you please explain for me which extent status can be used in our model?

Thanks.
