I finally located the following URL (I was looking in the wrong place) that
should be read by anyone with questions about the form of the interim

I should have included this in my previous message ('scheduling
challenged') as the basis for my words.
We do have AD permission to hold the meeting. Without that I would not
have been able to have the announcement appear on ietf-announce.
