The technique used in BIND may be implementation specific, but
the concept is not. I would not be at all surprised if other servers
adopt a similar technique, and therefore I'd suggest that the issue
at least be considered.

That would be fine by me. I don't really care what it is, so
long as it meets the criteria previously mentioned.
