Heh. This is one of the things I'd worry about. There's a potential load issue, too, of course: if some huge registrar sets all the TTLs to 5 seconds, your DNS servers are going to be swamped. Nevertheless, I find this interesting (and I'd sure like to see this be one of the extensions that gets documented by any new provreg2 WG).
