Temporary EPP TCP Port Assignment from IANA
Anyone interested in playing with EPP with TCP/TLS transport should note that IANA has been kind enough to provide temporary user port assignments. These assignments provide a higher degree of assurance of avoiding conflicts with undocumented port use. It's kind of funny that this showed up today, AFTER I sent in the document updates. Oh, well, I'll get it into the next version of the TCP draft. <Scott/> -----Original Message----- Dear Scott, We have assigned the following user port number with you as the point of contact: epp-temp 3121/tcp Extensible Provisioning Protocol epp-temp 3121/udp Extensible Provisioning Protocol # Scott Hollenbeck <shollenbeck@verisign.com> Please notify the IANA if there is a change in contact information. When a system port number is assigned after your document has been approved by the IESG, please notify the IANA and we will retract this assignment and assign the system port number.
