Subject: Temporary EPP TCP Port Assignment from IANA

Anyone interested in playing with EPP with TCP/TLS transport should note
that IANA has been kind enough to provide temporary user port assignments.
These assignments provide a higher degree of assurance of avoiding conflicts
with undocumented port use.

It's kind of funny that this showed up today, AFTER I sent in the document
updates. Oh, well, I'll get it into the next version of the TCP draft.

Dear Scott,

We have assigned the following user port number with
you as the point of contact:

epp-temp 3121/tcp Extensible Provisioning Protocol
epp-temp 3121/udp Extensible Provisioning Protocol
# Scott Hollenbeck <shollenbeck@verisign.com>

Please notify the IANA if there is a change in contact
information. When a system port number is assigned after your
document has been approved by the IESG, please notify the IANA
and we will retract this assignment and assign the system port
number.
