Definitely agree -- but, most of the problems with ugly solutions seems to
stem from the fact that they tend to require more clue to maintain, while
of course clued people tend to stay away from kludges..
Some down-to-earth advice might work wonders here.
(I've had a rant building up about this. It remains to be seen if it will
turn out useful or just produce hot air.. don't hold your horses ;-) )
