I did intend the general principles stated in the document to be
applicable to both IPv4 and IPv6. But as I'm not an expert in IPv6, I
didn't put in any specific considerations. There is in fact only one
reference to IPv6:

   The loopback addresses (127.0.0.1 for IPv4 and ::1 for IPv6) are...

If other people on this list think it is a good idea, I will be happy to
take your draft and integrate it a new section entitled "IPv6
