Cafax AB is a computer software consultant in Stockholm, Sweden. Our primary objective is to assist in software design and investigations regarding the domain name system (DNS) and electronic mail. Cafax also cooperates with Frobbit AB, and Informator in arranging courses on the subjects of DNS and sendmail.

Where am I?

Cafax has a remote IP address identifier to find out which IP address you're coming from. Useful in firewall and kerberos situations.

Computer Platform

Cafax favors the Berkeley Unix platform, specifically the NetBSD freely downloadable Unix operating system. The specifications for the Cafax central server are as follows:

CPU: 800 MHz Pentium III
RAM: 256 MB
HDD: 2 x 9 GB SCSI Ultra/Wide LVD
Network: 3Com 100 Mbps Ethernet card, currently set at 10 Mbps
Operating system: NetBSD 1.5.1
